We are 5 minutes walk off the Wales Coastal path.

The Wales Coastal path, now open, enables walkers to walk the length of the coast of Wales and incorporates the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

The hostel offers accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere with on site amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Public buses run to and from Carmarthen where you can connect to all major cities in the UK.

For drivers we have ample free parking.

We are 4 miles from the Wales route 4 Cycle trail.

The Pant yr Athro has has two bars serving a carefully selected range of Beers, Wines, Ciders and Spirits. The Bars are comfortably decorated in a Mexican style to give the Hacienda feel, many of the souvenirs collected from Mexico on Ken's frequent visits there. The Bars offer traditional pub games and hold regular theme evenings throughout the year.

The restaurant serves a range of food from Bar snacks, to Main Meals - Specialising in Mexican cuisine. All the meals are prepared on the premises using the finest local ingredients - subject to availability. For those who fancy trying Mexican cuisine there is always something to choose from. A takeaway service is also available.

The Pant yr Athro is available for...Functions. Weddings, Christenings and Private Parties.

The Hostel is located in the beautiful countryside 2 miles from the beach at Llansteffan and is six miles form the bustling market town of Carmarthen, birthplace of the wizard Merlin, from the legend of King Arthur.

The accommodation consists of dorms, private rooms, en-suite rooms, family rooms and chalets with private facilities.

For the hostel, there is a shared kitchen and dining area. A pleasant lounge area to relax, talk or watch TV. Hot showers. Free wifi .

The Hostel offers something for everyone. The virtually traffic free lanes are perfect for cyclists (we are 3 miles from the route 4 South Wales cycle route). We are on the Wales Coastal Path for those who enjoy a bit of exercise
